How To Hire Ghostwriter?

Article marketing has always been a marvelous way to make money with affiliate marketing. Since we talked about writing the articles in the last post, let's look at what you need to do when you are hiring ghostwriter.

1. Be specific

Never talk to a ghostwriter when you are unsure of what you want them to do. Telling the ghostwriters to write you an article about affiliate marketing is so general. What kind of information do you specifically need from them? Is it how to make money with affiliate marketing, choosing the best affiliate marketing programs or just a background of affiliate marketing? The list can go on if your topic is popular and hot.

Think of the ghostwriters as obedient robots. You need to lay it clear to them of their responsibility so that they can do their job and you can get what you want. Both win. :-)

The few things you need to tell the ghostwriters are:
  • Topic or sub-topic of your article
  • Length of your article
  • Is it going to be technical or a light read
  • The message of your article

2. Your purpose

What do you need your articles for? Is it to impress your readers or the search engine or both? This is because different purpose will require different skills or even different ghostwriters for the job.

I have seen writers with such powerful ability that you will literally hook with the articles once you look at the first 2-3 sentences. Some ghostwriters can even out in subliminal message that make you to act after you read the article. Imagine the ghostwriters you hire can write like that. Your conversion will skyrocket so much that you will ask why you didn't started affiliate marketing earlier.

3. Be budget wise

Of curse the ghostwriters with such ability don't come cheap. You probably need to spend tens or hundreds of dollars for an article. This can be quite heavy on you when you are running your affiliate marketing business with a budget.

Sometime, ghostwriters will make things easy for you by showing how much they charge. If they didn't show it, you can always ask for a quotation. Or you can search online and see how much ghostwriters are generally charging and you can develop a budget for it.

Whatever you do, you will want to be clear of your budget. The purpose you outsource the job to ghostwriters is to leverage on their expertise to help you make money with affiliate marketing. It doesn't feel right when you your affiliate marketing income doesn't tally with the money you are paying the ghostwriters.
