Believe in Your Product

This is one of the crucial requirements you need to make your affiliate marketing a success.

You can only sell a product better if you believe in it. It is not fare to your audiences if you try to sell them something that you have doubt.

Beside, your doubt may be right. That product might cause the customers pain and that can really shake your reputation in the customers' heart.

Then how do you believe in your product?

The best way is to research your product. You can only believe in a product if you understand more about that product.

See how that product helps the buyers; how that product solves the customers’ problems and how the buyers rate the product if any.

There are review sites online where users share their thought and opinions. They will share their experience about the product. You will know the pros and cons of the product and other information you might not find from the merchant.

Sometimes the users will also post a recommendation for the successor of the product. This can be invaluable to you because you might find a better product that you can really believe in.

You can find these kinds of review sites easily. Just Google it. I believe you already know how to do that.

So you must trust the product you wanted to sell and you can do that by researching more about the product. Once your customers buy a valuable product from you, they will happily buy from you again.

Being a Successful Affiliate Marketer...

People don't simply buy from you because you tell them to.

A successful affiliate marketer understands it takes time for people to make decision and that is why a successful affiliate marketer is doing all he or she can to shorten that period.

You can do that by adding value, constantly adding value. Let them be familiar with you and let them know you are here to grow with them and mot just chasing their money.

Is simple to add value. Just follow what other successful affiliate marketers are doing. You can offer:

• Free gift
• Free information or lesson (text, video, audio and anyway you like it)
• Newsletter
• Product review
• Discount for a product
• Recommendation for a product (you can promote your affiliate link but you need to watch your sales tone)

And many more...

There is no limit to how to add value. Find out about the skills to add value and try your best to learn them. If attending a seminar can help you learn new skills, go for it.

Make Things Simple

Most new affiliate marketers make things complicated.

They planned how to get their affiliate marketing success; they read all the ebooks they can get; they attend all marketing courses they can pay and they subscribe to all the newsletter that come into their way.

The situations became worst when someone offer them the latest or best way to make money online. They scratch their head whether to get it or not.

Regardless they buy the product or not, they still remain idle in their business.

They didn't do anything to market their business.

When you ask them why, they will answer that they:

1. What to market
2. How to market

But to be honest, the more they remain idle the more they will be confused. And the more time they struggle in their business, the less success they will achieve.

So the best thing to do is to make things simple.

Just focus on one thing at a time and master it.

Hang On or Give Up?

Too many times people have asked whether to hang on to their affiliate marketing business or just give up.

My answer will be forever to hang on.

How long have you been in affiliate marketing? 3 months? 6 months?

I only started to earn my money after 2 and a half year in the business.

I was having fear of failure for the first 6 months ad I didn't do anything for my business. I only started to focus on affiliate marketing after I finally give in to mentor. Thanks to him I am now a successful affiliate marketer.

I started affiliate marketing with PPC and because I am afraid to ask, I maxed out my credit card for my campaigns. I did make some sales during that time but my earning was not enough to cover my cost.

Then I have to quit my campaigns and focus on my day job to pay off the bills. Still I am thankful for the experience that you really can make money online. People do buy from the Internet. :-)

After that I found out about article marketing and it has been my best pal until today. Still the voyage into article marketing was not smooth sailing. I have to write a lot of articles despite of I am not so good in writing (probably still am today).

I also need to overcome my writer blocks to crank out words.

I started hiring ghost writers for my articles but the experience some of them was not so good either. Thankfully I found other good writers who charge reasonably and I have been working with them ever since.

Then I made a huge mistake of removing the articles which I thought was old from the directories. Start new, I thought. How stupid was I? :-(

Those were the days but I won't be who I am today if I gave up back then. Is common to make mistakes in affiliate marketing.

Just learn the lesson and rise up again for your own affiliate marketing business.
