Strengthen Your Core Branding...

Did you check your progress recently?

If you didn't, I suggest you do it as soon as possible. You need to look at all your goals (short term; medium term and long term) and decide whether they are reasonable and see how your progress is.

Let's say your goal is to maintain competitive in affiliate marketing but your activities are not strong enough and cause your income to drop. What are you going to do about that?

One thing you can do is to communicate with your customers. Email them and ask them why they arent interested in your offer anymore. Is it because of your support? Is it because of your bonuses? Or is it because they got the product from your competitor?

Please be gentle when you ask the questions and avoid to sound confronting and demanding. You just need answers.

After you got the answers, focus your energy to create a new and unique product, strengthen your image and continue to market your product. You can offer the new product in higher price and of course with more benefits for your customers to enjoy. Then, update your product constantly and release it as a new version. You can either give it free to the previous customers or offer them a discount.

Another thing to remember is that when you sell a higher price product, you need to give stronger reason for them to buy. What and how will the product benefit your customers? What is the difference of the new product compare to the previous one?

Give a strong answer to your customers so that they can't reject your offer.

How To Know What Your Customers Want?

Do you have the slightest idea of what your customers want? If you don't, then this is for you.

It might sound cheesy but the best way to know what your customers want is to ask them directly. However, you can only do this if you have a list. If you want to build your own list FREE, scroll down to the bottom of this page and sign up.

Your prospects are like you, they too don't simply buy any product unless they have a reason.

Imagine that you are selling coffee bean online, you constantly sent emails, ads and articles to your list members nut your income is just 20% of what you planned. You don’t understand how that can happen despite of all the effort you have out in.

If you are facing the same problem, it is time you ask your prospects some questions. Here are some tips for you to ask the questions:

  1. Be gentle on your tone, you need information, not confrontation.
  2. Draft your questions first, read then yourself before asking your prospects. Make sure that is how you wanted to be treated.
  3. Always thank your prospects for their feedback.
  4. You can give them a new and free report for sharing their feedback.
  5. Ask your prospects do they have any extra information to share with you.

You can only give your prospects the reason to buy if you are clear of what they want. Guessing or assuming what your prospects want is not going to get you far in affiliate marketing.

A Second Chance

Since I was quite free yesterday, I decided to clean my inbox. Then I found some tips in some old emails. Tips that are not relevant to me at that time but sound logic now.

I found out that I can put some new punch into the tips, write an article out of them and share them with my list members.

How To Tell Stories Effectively...

I know you are interested to apply the skills to tell a good story. So, here you are:

1. You need to know what you want to achieve from your stories. There must be a purpose to tell a story either to enroll people into your list or to sell a product. Every purpose will have different approach to tell the story.

Only when you are clear with what you want, you will be able to choose a good and influencing story.

2. You must at least understand the basic needs of your customers. It is useless to talk about the benefits if affiliate marketing if your audiences are looking for information about the benefits of article marketing.

The more you understand your customers, the better.

The best way to do it is to ask your customers what they want and share relevant stories with them.

3. You need to check your story before you post it to your audiences. Imagine what will your customers respond if they read your story. You can share the story with some close friend and other affiliate marketers before you spread it out. Get their opinions and rewrite the story if necessary.

The damage of an uncheck story is like you are going into a war without checking your ammo. You certainly don't want that to happen, right?

4. You must tell your story in ad most passion and enthusiasm.

This is your own personal story you are telling to your customers. It is not some stories you heard under a bridge or by the bond fire. Don’t you feel the burning fire behind the story?

If you can't convince yourself of the realistic of the story, how can you influence others to trust you?

5. A lot of people will read your story in a glance and didn't really think about your message. That is why you need to tell your readers the morale of the story.

Since this is the last part of the story, you need to be specific about the morale of the story and let your customers know in the simplest words possible.

If your message is to be patience and keep testing the market, tell them so.

So, hopefully you understand the power of story telling in your affiliate marketing business (this is the morale of the story) and you will apply it in your marketing campaign.

How To Influence Others...

A lot of affiliate marketers are always headache about how to influence customers to act in their favor. I read this from the newspaper and it was something I have been using quite successfully.

You just share stories with your customers...

You can use this to influence other people beside your customers. Test it, see how it works and tell me what you think about this method.

1. Make sure you relate your customers to the main character so that they will feel more connected and they are experiencing the same thing.

You can just share your personal experience wit them. Write out your experience of how you become a successful affiliate marketer from a normal person. Share your happiness, frustration, success and even failure with your audiences.

2. You need to make use of the certain situation of your story to grab hold of your readers’ attention. You can only send your message across effectively when your audiences are 100% devoted to you.

Tell them when and how receive a free tool and it practically boost your affiliate marketing income 230%. You can probably share with them the free tool and enroll them into your list.

3. You have to make your story as simplify as possible. This is because human attention lifespan is very short. If your story is lengthy and too descriptive, your audiences might be lost. If people don't understand your message, they will just close your page.

You can involve your customers to build the story. Let them imagine what will happen next and what they are going to do.

It can be as simple as a question “How are you going to spend the $20,000 you earned from affiliate marketing?”

4. Always remember to put an ending to your story and please let it be a positive one.

This is because positive ending will motivate your audiences to act positively.

Imagine you end your story that still struggle to succeed in affiliate marketing business even you used the new system. Then, will anyone still want to get the system?

Now, it is a different story if you say you earned $2,000 in just 3 days after using the new system. At least your audiences will have the urge to click on the lick and find out what the new system is about.
