Making money with affiliate marketing can be quite simple and it can sometime be simpler than making money offline. However, some are facing more problems than the other affiliate marketers and we shall look into why it happens.

1. Tools

Now, building a successful affiliate marketing business is like building a house. You need to have stable and strong foundation so that your house can still stand even after a storm.

And the foundation for your business is the skills and tools require for your business. Many new affiliate marketers run into the business after they read the introduction or a free ebook about affiliate marketing. They though they can start to make money with the business by simply blasting their affiliate link over the internet. If you have been in the business for some time, you will know that don't work.

Since that is the case, I would recommend you to sit down and plan how you want to build your business. If you need a website, make sure you learn how to build it or at least outsource the work to someone else. If you want to promote your business with article marketing, make sure you know how to write your articles properly and where to submit your articles.

2. People

When you are in affiliate marketing, you have to realize that you are in some kind of people business. That means other people are going to determine how much you can earn with this business even the product is to be use on animal or cars. So, your marketing message has to be in tune with your audiences.

Besides, it is also very important that you provide good service to your customers. It is true that the vendors will take cars of the after sales but what if the customers make an enquiry with you? Are you going to tell them to look for the vendors? It is OK that you ask them to give you some time to find the answer but never ask them to talk to the vendors. If that is the case, why should they buy the product from you? They might as well go direct to the vendors. Does that make sense?

3. Dedication and determination

Almost everyone I know talk about want to be an entrepreneur and who doesn't? You can to control your business. You run it as how you like it to be without taking orders from some one else. Still, it is never an easy task when you are starting on your entrepreneurial journey.

What you see might be just the beautiful side of being a boss. What if no customers buy your products? What is no one notice your business on the internet? How long are you going to burn your saving to for the hosting and autoresponder? How are you going to response to the people who ask you to stop dreaming?

My personal opinion is that you MUST have strong dedication and determination to your affiliate marketing business. You are going to face the challenges and doubts head on. There will be time that you might not have answer to all the questions and that is alright. All I ask is that you stick to your determination.
