Separate Prospects and Customers

I hope you are busy with your list member because that is what I want to share with you.

Let say you have 1000 list members, 350 of them bought from you before and 650 of them didn't.

What are you going to do?

...

...

...

...

...

Move the 350 customers into 1 list and prepare them for the next product. Your next product can either be something similar to what they bought or something higher level.

What about the remaining 650? Do you abandon them?

Of course not. Some people just need more time to buy and you have to spend more time with them.

Group them into another list and continue to develop them. Continue to offer them what you can therefore giving them more reason to buy.

Some would recommend you to stop supporting these people after a certain period as they didn't give you any return for your effort and time.

But personally, I would ask you to support everyone as long as you are capable. Not because that they might buy later but because they deserve the information. They opt-in to your list because they trusted you, the least you can do is to honor this trust and support them as long as possible.

You can ask them whether they want to remain on your list after a certain period.

You can give them up if they didn't reply or they want to be remove from your list. Then group those who reply into a new list and continue to grow them. You can even ask them why they don't buy from you then try to solve their issues as best as you can.

You can also tell them they are doing you a favor by answering your question. Most people will respond to that.

Analyze their issues and you might find something simple that you neglected.

So, develop your prospects and customers accordingly and start bringing in the money. :-)
