I believe you already have some basic knowledge about affiliate marketing before you come here. You know how it works, what its potential is and how much you need to start the business. So, I am going to go straight to how you can start making money with affiliate marketing even though you just join the business.

Quality of the traffic.

I bet you know that you already know that you need traffic to build your affiliate marketing business. But many new affiliate marketers ignore the quality of the traffic. Now, you have to understand that you are not making any money when on one buy your product. So, even though your website or blog enjoy 10,000 visits a month, you are still losing money and time if none of the visits convert into sales.

How do you get quality traffic then?

For starter, you have to target your market. Let's take article marketing for an example. You can't write generally and expect that you can impress all the readers and they will buy into everything you said. You need to have a target in mind of what you want to achieve and the impression you want to give your readers.

Even so, you have to be prepared that not all readers will be move by what you said. And that is why you have to look into your articles and determine what you are missing in your writings.

One of the ways you can do is to look into the articles that rank high in the search engines. Look into the styles of these authors and how they optimize their articles. You must have overlooked something.

By the way, please consider when you want to buy the list builder services. Many said that these services are scams in disguise but personally, I don't agree entirely on that. These kinds of services often highlight that you can build your huge list and enjoy enormous traffic without building your list in the difficult and conventional way.

To me, these services do work, provided that you have played your cards right. However, this often requires the same effort and money of building your own list with hosting and autoresponder services. The so called difficult and convention way. If that is the case, why don't you spare some money and time and just do it? At least, you have more control over your list and you know that your messages are targeted to the right crowd.

Besides that, please avoid buying into any list on sale because many of these are actually scams in disguise. The scam artist will tell you for some reasons that they have to let go of their responsive list.

If you think about it, will you let go of something that is profitable and give you significant returns? If I am making money with that list, I probably won't let it go. And from the business point of view, it is always more convenient to make money with your built customer base than to start from new.
