How To Write Effectively?

Since we talked about article marketing in the last post and the previous post before that, I think it will be more beneficial to you if I include some tips about writing effectively. I know some can't afford to hire ghost writer, so these tips will be useful to you. :-)

Let's start.

1. An idea

Some thought that you can only write when you have a good idea. Then, let me ask you a simple question. "What is a good idea?"

Some might think I am talking nonsense here but you might like what you are seeing here. Different people will respond differently towards your writing and you can't assume your idea is bad without people reading it. It is unfair to your idea too.

My advice is, just write. And when you started it, more ideas will come to you. And the more you write, the easier it gets and even more ideas will come to you easily and frequently.

2. Write for your readers

Your readers are the one who read your articles and in affiliate marketing, they are the one buying your product. So, in the common sense of running a business, are you going to cater to your prospects interest or yours?

Right. It is their interest that is important. So, before you write anything, you must ask yourself. "How can your writing be important to your readers?" Remember that people are always interested to improve their life.

Can you focus your writing around that? Start with a problem, bring your readers through the process and offer a solution (preferably link to your product) for them. Your readers are going to be grateful that you help them and they are going to buy your product when it feels right. Quite nice for focusing on your readers right? :-)

3. Why do you write?

Is it for traffic, money or to share information with your readers?

From my experience, being sincere and helpful always help to make money with affiliate marketing.

When you are writing sincerely, you actually write from your heart and your readers can feel it. When you are writing from your heart, you offer the most honest suggestion to your readers. You are OK that your readers don't buy from you because you know that they are not obliged to do so. All you want is for your readers to enjoy what you have done for them.

In return, your readers are fine with you anchoring your keyword because they know that is how you make a living as an affiliate marketer. Since your readers are happy with your articles, they are willing to spread the good words about you and eventually you are going to make more money with affiliate marketing.

4. What should you include in your articles then?

When you are doing article marketing , the first thing you want to include in your article are keywords. These are the things that get your article up and high on the search engine result page (SERP). Your readers search for information base on keywords, so the more you can match their searches, the easier your readers can see you hence more business opportunity to you.

Another thing you need to remember when you are writing is fact. Is the information you reveal in your article the truth? How you write your article actually reflect on your reputation. Let's say someone with relative knowledge about coffee machine read your article and found that you are making mistakes on the configuration of the machine. Do you think he or she is going to be impressed by you? Most likely not.

It is wise to spend sometime researching your topic when you are writing something. You don't want to look like a fool in front of your readers.

Lastly, make your article as entertaining as possible. It might not be possible when you are submitting your articles to article directories because some article directories are very particular about what you say in your articles. They might reject your articles because you are being informal in your articles.

Still, you can include the daily jargon in your blog post. There is no red tape to how you need to deliver your article. Your readers are going to enjoy more of your blog when you can be fun in your posting. Sometime it is easier to connect with your readers when there is no string attach.
