Beat Procrastination

When you are running your own business, procrastination is a big hinder to your success. I have seen what it did to me and surely I hope the tips below can help you to dispel off this great evil.

1. Don't just write your goal. State how long it is going to take for you to accomplish your goal.

2. Write your goal on a post it notepad and stick it where you can always see.

3. Goals are meant to be accomplished instead of sticking it. When your goal takes a year to achieve, replace your notepad every month to motivate you to strive for your goal.

4. When you are changing your notepad, ask yourself what you have done to accomplish this goal. Or you just look at it every now and then and replace it every month? Be honest with yourself.

5. Read out loud (if you can) your goals everyday. When you can't read out loud, read it out in softer volume. The bottom line is that you need to read it out. This will help to register your goal into your mind.

I can give you more tips to battle procrastination but do you know that you need to be a highly discipline person to execute those tips?

Then, what if you are not a discipline person?

Well, you can consider telling your goals to someone else. This person should have higher authority than you like your boss (if you can tell your boss that you are building your affiliate marketing business) or your parents and they need to see eye to eye with you. Most importantly, they need to believe in you.

You will then get them to monitor and supervise your progress and better, if they can challenge you. Remember, they are your external source of success. The more you accept their challenges, the faster you will see money flowing to your back account.
