How To Know Which Product Is Worth Promoting? - Part 2

During my last conversation with my tutor, he also highlight to me that if I were to know which product is worth promoting, I will want to look into the percentage of commission I earn for every transaction.

It is so true! The main reason I join affiliate marketing is because of the possibility of making huge money easily (your reason can be different). It doesn't make sense if I choose any affiliate programs that only give 4% for every product I sell. Although it can be a good experience to start your affiliate marketing business with something small and quick, you will eventually want to move to a more lucrative paying plan so that your effort is better rewarded.

So, do your own calculation before you decide on your affiliate marketing program.

Although some people might argue that as long as you got the volume, you can still make good money with affiliate marketing. There might be some truth in it. However, personally, I still believe that you are better to sell with quality rather than quantity.

Let's imagine for a month you are selling 60 units of affiliate product and each of them cost $50 and you are making 25% for everyone of them. So, you are earning $750 with affiliate marketing a month. Not bad. You can pay your house hold bills with the money you earn.

Let's take a look at another product which cost $97 per unit and you are earning 75% of it. Let's say you are selling 20 units a month. Guess how much you just earn? It is $1455! It is nearly doubled the amount you earned with 60 units sold. You can literally pay your car loan with that. :-)

So, are you convince? Look at the numbers again, the truth is so obvious.

Ask yourself, if you can sell 60 units which you only earn 5%, why don't you focus the same effort on something that you can earn 75%? Doesn't that make more sense?
