Creating Wealth - Are You Breaking The Tradition?

As how I see it, I have been following my parents' direction, went to school, got a degree, work for someone else in a cubicle and patiently waiting for my paycheck month after month, pay my bills and spent my retire days with my savings.

There is nothing wrong with this direction but there is nothing exciting about it either. It is a monotonous job where I don't need to think much as everything was mapped out for me. And as long as I follow the path, I shall be OK. However, the more I do that, the more I felt something is missing.

I believe you got the same feeling before you decided to take on this affiliate marketing opportunity.

I know that you have heard tons of rejection and arguments when you decided to take on this online career. To the older generation and conservative thinking, we are the mavericks that don't follow the formula. I am not saying that the older generation is wrong. They have all the reasons to disagree with us but the market today is filled with competition.

Just take a look at your company, the managing executives are extending their services and your colleagues have the same qualification and maybe better than you? So, how secure are you in getting that promotion?

Again, I am not saying that you can't make money by staying in a company. You can. Just that you gave the control to someone else. Why not take it back today?

The beauty of affiliate marketing is that you can start part time with it. And to let you know, many successful affiliate marketers started their affiliate marketing business part time too. And if you fail the business, you can still go back to your job. You lose nothing, except some sleeping hours, maybe.

Traditionally, you got pay as stated in your contract and nothing more than that. If you work overtime for the organization, you might get a pad on the back and a "job well done", max. Maybe you think your chance of getting that promotion will be brighter but what if your colleagues work more than you? Are you going to top that? Are you going to work until 12am if he works until 11pm?

Now, affiliate marketing rewards you accordingly. The harder you for it, the more you can make money with it. And what keeps me up in the night when I started the business is the possibility of financial freedom which I can enjoy money coming in while I am sleeping. Of course that took a lot of time to achieve but certainly this is not something the conventional money making method can top. You can only imagine what your boss is going to do to you when you don't turn up for work for a week.

Do understand that I am not saying that you can definitely make money with affiliate marketing business. There are also a lot of people who tried the business and fail miserably but what I am trying to point out here is that you have an option. A chance to put your effort and energy where you can be rewarded accordingly.
