As how I look at the current internet marketing industry, having a website is a must when you want to make money with internet marketing. However with all the competition you are facing, having a website is no longer enough to drive the cash to your pocket. So, below are some key ingredients that you need when you are building a profitable website.

I bet you have heard before that content is the king and personally, I need to agree with that. Your visitors look for you because you are able to supply the information they need and search engines nowadays rank your website base on your content too. So, the better content you have, the higher the chances people get to see you.
However, when your contents are getting more and more on your website, you will need a content management system (CMS) to help you organize your content and information. One of the free CMS you can use is Joomla!

Always remember that your customers are here to buy your product. The last thing you want to do is to provoke them during the payment process and get them to leave your website.
So, as a wise internet marketer, you will want to go online and search for user friendly and reliable shopping cart system to include into your website. Again, your shopping cart system need to give the impression of high security because no one is going to pay you when they don't feel safe about your system.
3. Search
Since you are building a profitable website, I can see that you will have a lot of information in your website and after reading the content management, I believe you will find your way to organize the information you have. However, your visitors might not know which page you keep the information they need and this is where the search box comes handy.
This helps your visitors to quickly find what they need and of course, quickly buy your product. :-) Imagine yourself searching in a recipe website looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe and you need to click in and out for the recipe. The worst thing that happens is after so much effort, you still fail to get that simple recipe. Won't you be angry and vow never to return to this website again? 4. Branding
